This snack maker has been making these bite-sized treats since 1948 using locally sourced red sweet potato paste and wrapping them in a wafer shell that is then gently baked for 12 hours. Japanese baked red sweet potato (yaki-imo) is sold all throughout Japan just as the weather starts getting colder.
