Yamanashi is a prefecture that covers the north part of Mount Fuji and is considered Japan’s wine country. The prefecture is filled with tons nature and crystal clear lakes filled with melted snowpack from Fuji. It’s also home to many of Japan’s top wineries and fruit farms. While it’s a little bit more off the beaten path, we recommend spending a few days in the area. The snack we are featuring is delicious butter cookie sandwich, filled with Japanese Muscarich grape infused mascarpone cream.
